Amex Unveils First Centurion Lounge in Continental Europe at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
American Express has opened its first Centurion Lounge in continental Europe at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) on September 17, 2026. The nearly 6,000-square-foot lounge offers a unique space for eligible travelers to dine, drink, work, and unwind before their flight.
The lounge's design blends contemporary style with elements inspired by Amsterdam's canals, architecture, and landscapes. Blue, green, and earth tones are paired with warm wood, brass, and black quartzite, while artwork by Dutch artists adds a local touch throughout the space.
The menu features seasonal dishes inspired by Dutch and regional European flavors, alongside a full bar with locally inspired mocktails and cocktails. Travelers can also enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, charging ports, and private restrooms available throughout the lounge.
