Amgen Expands Telangana Presence with New Research Centre

Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, is expanding its presence in Telangana's Genome Valley by setting up a new research and innovation centre. The announcement was made after Amgen India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, who expressed his excitement about the proposed research centre's potential to create new employment opportunities for local talent. He also emphasized the importance of giving priority to youth from Telangana during recruitment.

Amygen operates in nearly 100 countries and develops treatments for serious health conditions such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, bone health disorders, inflammation, respiratory diseases, and rare diseases. The company's presence in Genome Valley will further strengthen its foothold in the region.
