Amkor and Nvidia Team Up on $1.5B Semiconductor Partnership

Nvidia and Amkor have formed a multiyear partnership worth $1.5 billion to develop advanced semiconductor packaging and test technologies for next-generation AI and accelerated computing platforms.

The agreement will support the expansion of Amkor's U.S. packaging capacity, with its Arizona fab expected to begin production in early 2028 in Peoria Innovation Core.

This move is anticipated to bring new jobs and revenues to the area, as stated in a news release from Amkor.
