Amkor & Nvidia Ink $1.5B Partnership to Boost Peoria Jobs

Amkor has partnered with Nvidia to develop advanced semiconductor packaging and test technologies for next-generation AI and accelerated computing platforms. The $1.5 billion multiyear agreement will support the expansion of Amkor's U.S. packaging capacity, according to a news release.

The partnership is expected to benefit Peoria, as Amkor's Arizona fab, already under construction, will begin production in early 2028 in the Peoria Innovation Core. This new facility is set to bring new jobs and revenues to the area.
