Ampersand Secures $15 Million to Connect AI Agents with Enterprise Systems
Ampersand, a startup focused on connecting AI agents with enterprise systems, has raised $15 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Matrix and Flex Capital, as well as new backers like Yelp, Tenacity Capital, and CTO Fund. Bessemer partner Lauri Moore will join Ampersand’s Board.
The company aims to bridge the gap between AI-native applications and enterprise systems like CRM and ERP. Ampersand’s infrastructure addresses challenges such as custom fields, permissions, and workflows that vary across customer deployments, enabling AI agents to interact seamlessly with these systems.
Ampersand also introduced Andi, an AI integration agent in beta, designed to help developers deploy applications within customer environments. The company combines software infrastructure with integration expertise and forward-deployed support.
Founders Ayan Barua and Lauren Long bring extensive experience in integration and AI. Barua previously co-founded Siftery and served as Vice President of Engineering at G2, while Long built Firebase Extensions at Google.
