Amul Surpasses Global Rivals as World's Strongest Dairy Brand
Brand Finance, a leading brand valuation consultancy, has ranked Amul as the world's strongest dairy brand in its Food & Drinks 2026 report. The report shows that Amul's brand value rose 22% to $5 billion, with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 93/100 and a brand index rating of AAA+.
This is not the first time that Amul has received recognition for its strong brand. In fact, it ranked fourth among dairy brands and 13th in the Food 100 rankings, which is part of Brand Finance's overall report. Mother Dairy and Britannia also posted strong growth in the rankings, with their brand values rising by 22% to $1.4 billion and 17% to $1.3 billion, respectively.
Karnataka-based dairy brand Nandini joined the Food 10 ranking, with its brand value reaching $1.1 billion. Global brands such as Nestle and Coca-Cola also topped the rankings, with their brand values rising by 23% to $24.6 billion and remaining at $46.1 billion, respectively.
