ANA Unveils Second Pokémon-Themed Aircraft: Green Pokémon Jet Takes Flight
Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) has unveiled its second Pokémon-themed aircraft, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, as part of a three-aircraft fleet. The Green Pokémon Jet took off on September 18 from Tokyo Haneda Airport for a seven-hour flight to Honolulu, marking the beginning of international service.
The livery features Grass-type Pokémon, including Pikachu and other iconic characters such as Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig, Snivy, Chespin, Rowlet, Grookey, and Sprigatito. This is a deliberate homage to the original Pokémon Red, Green, and Blue era.
The Green Pokémon Jet will operate on 15 principal international routes through March 27, 2027, covering destinations in North America, Asia, and Australia. ANA has warned that assignments may vary according to operational conditions.
