Android 13 QPR2 Beta 6 Brings New Features and Fixes Ahead of December Launch
Google has rolled out Android 13 QPR2 Beta 6 and Beta 6.1, moving closer to the stable December launch.
The latest beta updates bring new features and changes to devices such as the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel Tablet.
In a significant change, Google has removed App lock capabilities from Beta 6, similar to the removal of Quick Settings layout customization.
Additionally, several issues have been fixed in Beta 6, including a visual regression causing letterboxed content to leak through the status bar during activity transitions and unexpected device reboots on Pixel 9 Pro Fold when initializing the camera viewfinder in third-party applications.
The update also includes fixes for other issues such as device crashes, reboots, or hangs when scrolling.
