Android 17 QPR2 Beta 5 Fixes Key Issues Ahead of Launch
Google has released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 5 for Pixel testers, addressing several issues that had been plaguing users. The update solves a problem with unexpected reboots during UI scrolling in media-heavy applications and fixes an issue where changing the device type in Bluetooth settings didn't update its icon visually.
The company has also addressed other problems, including camera crashes during panorama processing and Bluetooth audio experiences noise and distortion after completing or answering a call. Additionally, Google fixed issues with text rendering and navigation routing.
QPR2 Beta 4 marked the beginning of the Platform Stability phase, which means we're getting close to the final launch. However, there's still work to be done as some bugs remain unresolved.
