Google has released Android 17 QPR3 Beta 1 for Pixel devices. The firmware is available for the Pixel 6a and up to the Pixel 11 series, with most devices getting build DP11.260918.006.

The update fixes various bugs, including issues with audio output device switching, app crashes, and NFC service crashes. Other problems addressed include excessive battery drain during idle when Flip to Shh is enabled, Wi-Fi reconnecting issues, and com.android.phone crash loops.

Users can register their Pixel handsets with Google's Android Beta for Pixel program to try out the new update. However, it is recommended to back up data before installing the beta version, as uninstalling may require a data wipe.
