Android Auto Bug Blocks Calls on Foldable Phones
An Android Auto bug is causing issues for users of foldable phones like the Motorola Razr. When connected to Android Auto and closed, the phone will not allow outgoing calls.
Users have reported that when attempting an outgoing call while their phone is closed, Android Auto throws an error message suggesting they open the device. However, once opened, calls can be made without issue.
The problem seems to only affect users of the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 and Razr Ultra 2026 models connected to Android Auto.
A fix has been suggested by users, which involves reverting back to Google Assistant from Gemini. However, this may not be a viable option for many users, as Google Assistant was removed from Android devices on September 28.
