Android Auto Prepares Support for Proactive Assistance Feature
Android Auto is gearing up to integrate Google's Proactive Assistance feature, also known as Magic Cue. This technology delivers personalized information proactively, such as flight info in conversations or conflicting calendar events.
Magic Cue was first introduced on the Pixel 10 series and later rebranded as Proactive Assistance for the Pixel 11 series. It is designed to save users time by providing relevant suggestions.
The latest version of Android Auto, v17.9 beta, includes strings that suggest Proactive Assistance is being actively worked on and could be released soon. This feature was previously announced to arrive in May, but no update has been given since then.
