Android Auto Users Can Now Customize Their Google Maps Driving Avatar
Google has rolled out a new feature for Android Auto users that allows them to change their Google Maps driving avatar directly from the dashboard.
This 'Driving avatar' option lets users choose a vehicle icon and customize its color without needing to reach for their phone.
The feature is available on devices running Android Auto 17.8.163744 and Google Maps 26.38.01, although it's unclear exactly when the rollout started or if it's available to everyone yet.
