Android's Extend Unlock Feature Saves Time and Effort
Jade Bryan, a feature author at Android Police, recently discovered an Android feature called Extend Unlock that has saved him time and effort in accessing his phone.
Bryan was using a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, which has a fingerprint scanner, but he found that having to unlock it every time he expanded notifications wasn't efficient, especially when he's at home or driving.
He remembered that Android had a feature called Extend Unlock, which keeps the phone unlocked for up to four hours when triggered by a state such as connecting to a Bluetooth device or being in a specific authorized location.
Bryan enabled and set up Extend Unlock on his Pixel, and he found it to be an invaluable tool for improving his usage while keeping his phone secure. He used the feature with trusted places and devices, including his Google Fitbit Air and Huawei GT smartwatch.
