Andy Walter Joins Latend as Strategic Advisor for Decision Formula
Latend, the company behind Decision Formula, has announced that Andy Walter, former Senior Vice President of IT and Global Shared Services at Procter & Gamble (P&G), has joined as a strategic advisor. Walter brings three decades of enterprise IT, analytics, and board experience to the role. He will work with Latend's founders on company and product strategy, enterprise adoption of Decision Formula, and strategic partnerships.
Decision Formula is software designed to assist data product owners in large organizations by providing the analytical support they often lack. The tool helps define data products by consolidating scattered information across people, documents, and systems into a single, coherent definition. It identifies gaps and unresolved issues, ensuring that the final product aligns with business needs.
Walter has been a board member and strategic advisor to companies focused on enterprise analytics and AI for the past decade. At P&G, he led the company's global business intelligence and analytics transformation. He emphasized the importance of Latend's solution in preventing costly surprises and ensuring that data products meet business expectations.
Jan Wenda, co-founder and CEO of Latend, highlighted Walter's extensive experience in making large companies run on data. Walter's leadership at P&G and his subsequent work with other companies make him a valuable addition to Latend's team. Walter also serves on the board of True Essence Foods and is a Trustee and Co-Chair of the Board of the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati.
