Anthropic has secured a massive $35 billion cloud deal with Lambda, a cloud provider backed by Nvidia. The agreement will grant Anthropic access to computing infrastructure at a data center in Nueces County, Texas, which is currently under development by Hut 8.

The facility, expected to have around 350 megawatts of capacity, will be used to meet the growing demand for Anthropic's Claude AI models. Nvidia is both an investor in Lambda and supplies chips used by the cloud provider, with the chipmaker also holding the lease on the Texas data center.

This agreement marks part of Anthropic's broader effort to secure computing capacity as its AI models become increasingly popular. The company has also signed deals with Nscale and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a combined total of over $180 billion in computing resources.
