Antigravity Coding Tool Boosts Alphabet, But Stock Falls Amid Market Volatility
Alphabet's stock price took a dip despite the positive news that its Antigravity coding tool will be bundled into Gemini Enterprise subscriptions. The technology giant announced that Antigravity, which was launched at Google I/O in May, is now available to companies with Standard and Plus subscriptions. This move is seen as a boost for Alphabet's artificial intelligence product.
The Antigravity platform allows AI agents to perform various tasks, including researching codebases, running local builds, and executing end-to-end tasks. Some companies are already generating more than 50% of their code using the tool.
Despite the positive news, Alphabet's stock fell 1% on August 20 due to concerns about rising U.S. Treasury yields in the broader market.
