Apple Investors Face Long Wait for 10x Return
Apple has proven its ability to deliver significant returns on investment, but achieving a 10x return from today's price is a much more challenging task. The company has already turned $1,000 into over $12,813 in the past decade, but reaching that milestone again requires a deep understanding of Apple's growth prospects and potential risks.
According to a model used by 24/7 Wall St., if Apple continues growing at its current pace, it would take around 23.6628 years for a $1,000 investment to reach $10,000. However, this projection is based on the central scenario, and actual results may vary depending on various factors such as earnings growth, supply chain constraints, and regulatory pressures.
The model also suggests that Apple's current valuation leaves little room for error, with the stock trading at around 44 times trailing earnings. Additionally, recent results were boosted by one-time tariff refunds, which will not repeat in future quarters.
