Apple Launches Premium iPhone Models, Foldable Device on the Way
Apple's latest iPhone lineup has finally hit stores, led by the higher-priced premium models. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are now available for purchase with starting prices of $1,199 and $1,299 respectively.
The launch marks Apple's first major product release under new CEO John Ternus, who previously served as senior vice president of hardware engineering.
One of the most anticipated features is the company's first foldable iPhone, which will debut in about a month. The Duo offers a larger-screen appeal and will provide another premium hardware format alongside traditional iPhones.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup also boasts improved cameras, longer battery life, and faster AI performance thanks to Apple's new 2-nanometer A20 Pro chip. This upgrade cycle is expected to support demand, with Bank of America Securities analyst Wamsi Mohan reiterating a Buy rating and $370 price forecast.
