D.B. Root & Company LLC has acquired a new stake in Apple Inc., buying approximately $11.46 million worth of shares in the second quarter, according to its most recent 13F filing with the SEC.
The company purchased 39,618 shares of AAPL stock, making up about 2.4% of D.B. Root & Company LLC's portfolio and marking it as its eighth-largest holding.
This is not an isolated instance; other hedge funds and institutional investors have also modified their holdings of AAPL in recent periods.
Nuveen LLC increased its stake in Apple by 3.8% during the fourth quarter, owning 75 million shares valued at $20.39 billion after purchasing an additional 2.725 million shares.
