Apple Stock Dips After WWDC 2026 Amid Delayed AI Rollout
Apple's stock price fell after its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026 event, despite posting $111.2 billion in revenue and a record-breaking $31 billion in Services revenue.
The decline was attributed to the company's decision to delay the rollout of its Apple Intelligence features until later this year or next year, which some investors had been expecting to be available immediately.
However, according to analysts, this delay is actually a strategic move by Apple to create a 'supercycle' in demand for its new iPhone 18 devices, which will feature the full range of Apple Intelligence capabilities when they launch in September 2026.
This approach has been successful for Apple in the past, as it allows the company to build anticipation and excitement for its products, leading to a surge in sales and revenue.
