Apple Stock Price Drops 7% Amid Margin Debate
Apple's stock price plummeted by about 7% to $308.91 after its latest earnings report, despite posting record numbers for revenue and earnings per share.
The tech giant reported quarterly revenue of $109.4 billion, a 16% increase from the same period last year, and earnings per share of $2.03, up 29% from Q3 2025.
Management attributed the strong numbers to a record June quarter, with Services reaching $30.7 billion in revenue and a 12% year-over-year growth rate.
The AI and Services story is gaining momentum, with Siri and Apple Intelligence now tied to shipping OS updates and upcoming iPhone cycles.
