Apple Surpasses Combined Valuation of Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta
Apple's resilience in the face of a global financial crisis has been put on full display. For a brief moment last week, the company's market capitalization exceeded that of Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta combined. According to Yahoo Finance, Apple's valuation at the end of the day on Wednesday was $2.31 trillion, while the combined valuation of Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta was just shy of $2.3 trillion.
This milestone is a testament to Apple's strong business fundamentals, which have enabled it to weather the storm of the bear market. While Apple's stock has lost some ground since its record value of $179.5 in December 2021, it remains up from June this year, thanks to strong earnings results in the third quarter of 2022.
Alphabet and Amazon, on the other hand, have not fared as well. Alphabet's stock is trading at $83.4, down from its all-time high of $148.9, while Amazon's stock is at $89.3, down from its record value of $186.
