Apple Taps Nvidia For M8 Ultra AI Servers In Enterprise Comeback Push
Apple is reportedly developing enterprise AI servers powered by its own chips, which could use Nvidia's NVLink Fusion technology to connect processors.
The company has considered two configurations for the server: a smaller version with two M8 Ultra chips and a larger one with four. Apple has also evaluated using Nvidia's NVLink Fusion technology to connect the chips.
The servers are designed for AI developers, businesses, and governments, but they won't be available until 2029.
