Apple Teeters on $5 Trillion Market Cap Threshold
Apple is on the cusp of achieving a $5 trillion market capitalization, narrowly missing the milestone on September 22 when it closed at $4.96 trillion.
The company's stock has been rising steadily this year, up 25% since January and 10% in the past month following the appointment of new CEO John Ternus and the unveiling of a foldable iPhone.
To reach the $5 trillion mark, Apple's share price needs to close at $342.60 per share, a level currently surpassed by only one other publicly traded company, Nvidia, which boasts a market cap of $5.52 trillion.
