Apple Unveils Foldable Duo iPhone with Price Tag from $1,999
Apple has unveiled its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, priced from $1,999 to $3,200. The device features a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch inner display, powered by Apple's new A20 Pro chip. Touch ID is also included in this latest model.
The launch marks a significant update to the iPhone lineup under new CEO John Ternus. Analysts believe that the foldable screen will attract mostly existing Apple users upgrading and could potentially boost overall iPhone sales by about 2%. UBS projects Apple could sell over 5 million foldable units in fiscal 2026.
Apple's stock jumped 3.56% following the launch, but Wall Street analysts remain divided. Among ten notable ratings, five recommended buying, four were neutral, and one advised selling.
