Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone and Refreshed Pro Lineup at Surprise and Shine Event
Apple is set to unveil its first foldable iPhone at an event dubbed 'Surprise and shine' on Wednesday. The event marks a significant moment for John Ternus, who is leading his first major product launch as CEO of Apple.
The company will also refresh its Pro lineup with new iPhones, including the 18 Pro and Pro Max models. These devices are expected to feature improved camera upgrades and a 2nm A20 Pro chip.
However, the real highlight is the foldable iPhone, which could be named Fold or Ultra. It will reportedly start at $2,099 for the base configuration, making it Apple's most expensive iPhone to date.
BofA analysts believe that the key focus for investors will be the foldable iPhone and potential price increases across the Pro line. They also highlighted strong capital returns and Apple's position as an eventual leader in AI at the edge.
