Apple Unveils Houston Manufacturing Hub, Offers Free Training for Businesses
Apple has opened its Advanced Manufacturing Center in Houston, Texas, which offers free training and education to small- and medium-sized businesses. The center is located within Apple's existing facility that builds advanced AI servers and will begin manufacturing Mac mini this year.
The AMC provides hands-on training for participants on smart manufacturing techniques such as machine-learning-driven quality control and laser etching. Experts from Apple share their knowledge with participating businesses to help accelerate innovation in the US.
Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, stated that the company believes in American workers and ingenuity, and wants to build the future of American manufacturing. The AMC builds on the work of the Apple Manufacturing Academy, which opened in Detroit in August 2025 and has helped nearly 1,000 American companies learn smart manufacturing techniques.
Businesses interested in the Advanced Manufacturing Center can sign up to be notified for future sessions.
