Apple's Earnings Report Sparks Concerns About Demand and Price Increases
Apple's recent earnings report showed that its product sales growth is outpacing its services growth, despite some concerns about demand being pulled forward due to price increases.
The tech giant reported a 16.4% year-over-year increase in net sales for the third quarter of fiscal 2026, with a 21.7% jump in iPhone sales and an 18.1% overall increase in product sales.
However, Apple's stock fell 7.4% on July 31, resulting in a $426 billion loss in market capitalization over two days.
This drop was largely attributed to concerns about consumer demand, which may be affected by price increases and inflationary pressures.
