Apple's Foldable iPhone Duo Priced at $2K, Rebounds Stock Price
Apple's stock price rebounded after the company unveiled its first foldable iPhone, dubbed 'iPhone Duo,' at an event called 'Surprise and Shine.' The device features a 7.6-inch inner display with a nano-texture anti-glare finish when open, and a 5.4-inch outer screen that delivers 90% of the iPhone 18 Pro's screen area when closed.
The frame is made of machined titanium, with Ceramic Shield 2 up front and an IP68 rating. Pricing for the iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB, scaling to 2TB. Preorders will open on October 16, with availability set for October 23.
The $2,000 entry point establishes a new premium tier above Apple's existing Pro line heading into the holiday quarter, a move that bulls have been waiting on.
