Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro lineup may see a significant price increase in India, according to a revised forecast by GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu. The new prediction suggests that the iPhone 18 Pro and its larger variant could become $250 to $300 more expensive than their predecessors.

Pu previously expected Apple to keep pricing relatively stable despite rising component costs, but has now downgraded his outlook due to concerns about consumer demand. If accurate, the price hike would make the iPhone 18 Pro start at around $1,349 to $1,399 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max between $1,449 and $1,499.

The expected increase is attributed to Apple's plan to use its new A20 Pro processor built on a 2nm manufacturing process, along with faster LPDDR5X memory and upgraded NAND storage. These components are reportedly more expensive than those used in the current generation.
