Apple's Secret Wearables: Screen-Free Tracker and AI-Powered Pendant in Works
Apple is reportedly working on two new wearable devices to expand its lineup beyond the Apple Watch. One device is a screen-free fitness tracker similar to Whoop's bands, which would have a fabric band with sensors to monitor heart rate and other health metrics.
The tech giant has developed prototypes for this device, but nothing is certain yet. Former Apple CEO Tim Cook and services chief Eddy Cue are reportedly 'throwing their weight behind the product'.
If Apple proceeds with this tracker, it's unlikely to arrive before 2028. The company is also testing a redesigned Health app in iOS 27.2.
