Apple has introduced its new Apple Home Collection, a lineup of nine smart home accessories set to launch starting in December. The collection is the result of collaborations with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, with some products available immediately and the rest arriving in early 2027. The lineup includes thermostats, smart locks, and cameras, all designed to integrate seamlessly with the iPhone through the Home app.
The new products are seen as a natural extension of Apple's ecosystem, deepening consumer relationships by storing home camera footage in iCloud. This move is expected to generate another revenue stream for Apple with minimal risk, thanks to the manufacturing partnerships. The collection also addresses pressure on new CEO John Ternus to innovate and introduce fresh products.
While Wall Street was underwhelmed by Apple's conservative fourth-quarter growth guidance of 9% to 11%, the Apple Home Collection offers long-term investors another reason to remain optimistic. The new lineup is anticipated to boost Apple's Services revenue and further lock customers into its ecosystem. Despite the stock being at an all-time high with a market cap nearing $5 trillion, Apple remains a strong technology investment.
