Apple's Strong Earnings Rebound Fuels AI-Driven Growth Hopes
Apple's stock price has recovered significantly from its August lows, reaching around $331 on September 16. The company's latest earnings report showed a strong performance, with revenue rising 16% year-over-year to a June-quarter record of $109.4 billion and EPS increasing 29% to $2.02.
The rebound is also supported by the upcoming new product cycle, which includes the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max powered by the A20 Pro chip, as well as the first foldable iPhone Duo. Apple launched Siri AI and the next generation of Apple Intelligence in iOS 27 on September 14, marking a significant step towards integrating AI features across its ecosystem.
However, some challenges lie ahead for Apple. Component supply constraints may limit revenue growth in the September quarter to around 9-11%, lower than previously expected. Additionally, the company faces potential regulatory risks from the growing debate over artificial intelligence regulation, particularly with regards to data center development and AI model safety standards.
