AprilBio Taps Amgen Veteran for R&D and Global Expansion Push
AprilBio has hired Hwang Sun-jin, a veteran of Amgen and other pharmaceutical companies, as its new Executive Vice President to drive research and development (R&D) and global expansion.
Hwang Sun-jin, who previously worked at Asan Medical Center and Samsung Medical Center, brings 20 years of experience in the industry, including time at U.S. Merck, Gilead Sciences, and domestic corporations.
The company plans to strengthen its R&D efforts based on Hwang's expertise, which spans establishing new drug development strategies, managing overseas projects, and dealing with regulatory agencies.
