AQS Taps IBM Quantum Network to Bolster Finance Sector's Quantum Computing Push
Applied Quantum Software (AQS) has joined the IBM Quantum Network startup program to bring its AQS FabriQ quantum software development platform to the global community of quantum computing developers. The move aims to accelerate the adoption of quantum computing in finance, with a recent McKinsey study predicting that it could deliver up to half a trillion dollars in economic value by 2035.
AQS founder Tom Finke commented on the potential impact of quantum computing on the finance sector: 'A recent study by McKinsey indicates that quantum computing is expected to deliver roughly half a trillion dollars in economic value to the finance sector by 2035.'
AQS FabriQ is an easy-to-use platform that enables quantitative teams to develop and deploy native quantum software alongside their classical counterparts. The platform includes data integration, quantum computer and simulator integration, and benchmarking capabilities.
