Archer Aviation's stock price surged on Tuesday after the company announced its plans to acquire Boeing's Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid units. The acquisition is expected to provide Archer with a significant revenue boost, as Insitu alone generates over $200 million in annual revenue.

The deal, which is set to complete by the end of 2026, includes a defense business that is profitable and brings in more than 667 times the revenue Archer generated in 2025. In contrast, Archer reported only $0.3 million in revenue for the entirety of last year.

Boeing will acquire a 19.75% stake in Archer's pre-closing Class A shares, as well as warrants and the ability to nominate one member to Archer's board. The companies plan to finalize the deal by the end of this year.
