Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc., the operator of McDonald's restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean, reported improved first-half earnings and reduced debt levels. The company posted a net income attributable to Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc. of $81,146 for the six-month period ended June 30, 2026, up from $36,517 in the same period last year.

The revenue for the period rose to $2,521,597, compared with $2,218,888 in 2025. Operating costs and expenses increased by $275 million to $2,386,201, driven by higher food and paper costs, as well as occupancy and other operating expenses.

Despite this increase in costs, the company's net interest expense and other financing results decreased, contributing to the improved earnings. The debt-to-equity ratio also declined, indicating a reduction in leverage.
