Argentina Seeks More Indian Tourists and Economic Ties
Argentina's Ambassador to India Mariano Caucino announced that the country is working on measures to attract more Indian tourists and strengthen people-to-people and economic ties with India.
Caucino highlighted Argentina's visa facilities for Indian nationals, stating that Indians holding a valid US visa can visit Argentina as tourists for up to 90 days without obtaining an Argentine visa since August 2025.
He also mentioned that Indian nationals can get a five-year business visa free of charge and encouraged reciprocity from India so that Argentines can travel to India just as easily.
The ambassador emphasized the importance of air connectivity, noting that Argentina's civil aviation authorities are negotiating an Air Services Agreement with India, which will give airlines from both countries more freedom to fly between them.
