Arizona Protesters Demand Cheaper Care and Groceries from Ciscomani's Office

A small group of protesters gathered outside the office of Representative Juan Ciscomani in Arizona on Thursday morning to express their opposition to his federal policies.

The protesters, about 15 in number, used visual aids to represent their demands. They posed with a shopping cart to signify the rising cost of groceries, a stroller to indicate the increasing price of childcare, and a medical bed to highlight the high cost of healthcare.

The protest's emcee, Patrick Robles, lamented the higher prices for these essential services. Middle school teacher Norma Jean Higuera and disability advocate Chad Durns also spoke from the podium, with Durns criticizing Ciscomani's policies as favoring the wealthy at the expense of the poor.

The protesters then marched up to Ciscomani's office and took turns speaking into the intercom. While they were frustrated that the congressman was not present in person, they vowed to continue their weekly protests until the midterm elections.
