Arizona Veterans Confront Rep Over Broken Promises on Healthcare Costs

A group of veterans from Southern Arizona visited Rep. Juan Ciscomani's Tucson office to express their concerns about healthcare and cost issues in the area.

They arrived with receipts, which they claimed were evidence that Ciscomani had broken his promise to protect healthcare and lower costs.

The veterans, who are from Congressional District 6, spoke out against policies supported by Ciscomani that cut Medicaid, SNAP, and ACA assistance while providing tax breaks for billionaires and large corporations.

They also expressed frustration over the high prices of gas, food, healthcare, and utilities in the area, which they said were affecting working families and veterans across Southern Arizona.

The group called on Ciscomani to support clean energy projects, citing the benefits of a Clean Grid for national security, safety, and the environment.
