Arthur Blank Tops Georgia's Forbes 400 List as Home Depot Co-Founder Surpasses Net Worth
Atlanta's richest residents have been revealed in the latest Forbes 400 list. This year, Arthur Blank takes the top spot in Georgia, surpassing his net worth from $11.4 billion to $13.2 billion.
Last year, the Cathy family topped Georgia's list, but they dropped down to No. 116 this year with a net worth of $12 billion. The Home Depot co-founder and sports mogul's rise in the rankings is notable, moving up from No. 105 last year.
Other notable Georgians on the list include Jim Kennedy, former chairman of Cox Enterprises, at No. 224 with a net worth of $7.6 billion, and John Brown, former chairman of Stryker Corp., who remains in the same spot at No. 251 with a net worth of $6.9 billion.
