Asia Markets Flat Ahead of Iran Sanctions News and Nvidia Earnings
Asian markets were largely flat on Monday as investors waited for news of threatened US sanctions on Iran, due later in the session.
The tech sector is eagerly anticipating Nvidia's quarterly results on Wednesday, with analysts expecting revenue to almost double to around $92 billion and full-year earnings guidance seen in a range of $103 billion to $105 billion.
Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh is set to speak at the Jackson Hole conference on Friday, but analysts are skeptical about the likelihood of forward guidance, citing his well-known aversion to it.
