Atlanta Universities Receive Campus Renovation Grants from Home Depot

Spelman College and Clark Atlanta University have received grants from The Home Depot's Retool Your School program to support campus renovation projects. The awards ceremony was held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on September 22nd, where representatives from both institutions joined other grant recipients.

The Retool Your School program has been investing in campus improvements since 2009, with over $15 million invested so far. This year's grants include 10 Campus Improvement Grants of $200,000 each and 14 Innovation Lounge Grants of $75,000 each.

Representatives from the two Atlanta-based universities attended the ceremony to receive their grants, which are designed to benefit students, faculty, and staff through campus improvements.
