Atlantic Park Commission Prepares for Coca-Cola Days Celebrations

The Atlantic Park Commission will discuss plans for Coca-Cola Days in September at its meeting on August 26. The event, which celebrates America's 250th birthday, will feature a baseball and softball pitching contest and an apple pie contest, among other activities.

Atlantic Park Advisory Commission member Dolly Bergmann noted that the theme of Coca-Cola Days aligns well with the contests, saying 'Coca-Cola Day's theme is Coca-Cola, an American tradition, like baseball and apple pie.'

The Atlantic Chamber has organized several family-friendly activities for the event, including bounce houses, face painting, a baseball throw contest, and visits with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear. Food vendors will be on site, offering Boulevard Grill food, and live music performances are scheduled throughout the weekend.
