Atlantic Park Seeks Volunteers for Coca-Cola Days Pitching Contest

Atlantic Park Advisory Commission member Dolly Bergmann is calling for volunteers to help with the Coca-Cola Days project, specifically the baseball and softball pitching contest. The event will take place on September 25th and 26th at Atlantic Park.

The goal is to have 50 volunteers to assist with various tasks during the contest, which will include registration, measuring the throwing area, operating a speed gun, tallying results, collecting balls, keeping spectators out of the way, taking photos, and handing out prizes. Volunteers are also needed on September 10th at Produce in the Park to help register participants for the pitching contest.

The pitching contest will feature three categories: grade school, middle school, and high school/anybody over 18. Each participant will receive three pitches, and individuals do not have to exclusively be a pitcher to participate.
