Atlas Energy Solutions Invests $613.5 Million in Wyoming Machinery Equipment Deals
Atlas Energy Solutions has made significant strides in securing crucial equipment for its power generation project. The company has agreed to purchase $613.5 million worth of balance-of-plant and generator equipment from Wyoming Machinery, with shipments scheduled to take place between April 2027 and February 2028.
The balance-of-plant equipment deal, valued at $340.5 million, includes installment payments, a 10% completion holdback, and a termination-for-convenience option. The agreement is backed by a cost reimbursement arrangement with a leading frontier AI lab that serves as the project's offtaker.
Separately, Atlas Energy Solutions has inked a deal worth $273 million for 328 MW of Caterpillar generators, subject to tariff pass-throughs from the manufacturer. This purchase aims to satisfy part of the company's obligations under its Global Framework Agreement with Caterpillar, pending confirmation.
