August's Forgotten Dividend Stocks: PG, PEP, KO
The market has favored speculation over patience in August, but Dividend Kings are once again looking attractive. Three stocks stand out for their long histories of dividend increases and solid financials: Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, and Coca-Cola.
Procter & Gamble (PG) is the definition of a forever-hold stock, with 70 consecutive years of dividend increases and a payout streak dating back to 1890. The latest quarterly payout sits at $1.0885 per share, with an annualized forward dividend of $4.354. Fiscal 2026 delivered core EPS of $6.89 on $87.03 billion in revenue.
PepsiCo (PEP) has extended its streak to more than five decades of annual increases, with a forward annualized payout of $5.92 per share and a dividend yield of 4.05%. The company's international business continues to drive growth, with CEO Ramon Laguarta highlighting the engine that will cross $40 billion in revenue this year.
Coca-Cola (KO) is the momentum play in this group, with shares up 32.06% year-to-date and 10.83% in just the last month. The company has activated the World Cup tournament in over 180 markets and collected more than 25 million first-party data points.
