AUVSI Names New VP With Aerial Expertise and Corporate Prowess
The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) has appointed Alison Wyrick-Mendoza as its new vice president of marketing, communications and strategic programs. This newly created role will see Wyrick-Mendoza guide AUVSI's brand modernisation efforts.
Wyrick-Mendoza joins AUVSI from Honeywell, where she served as global senior director of R&D innovation. In this position, she directed corporate strategy and negotiated the company's AI partnership with Google Cloud. She also developed AI governance frameworks adopted across the enterprise.
In her previous role at GE Additive, Wyrick-Mendoza held commercial leadership positions. Additionally, she advised ASTM International on market adoption standards for AI, robotics and advanced manufacturing while serving on AUVSI's Communications Committee.
