Aven Hospitality Taps Travel Tech Veteran to Lead SynXis Platform Expansion

Aven Hospitality has appointed Heather Lisagor as Vice President of Innovation and Product Excellence. In her new role, she will oversee the expansion of the SynXis Platform, focusing on integrating artificial intelligence and automating distribution interfaces.

Lisagor brings over two decades of travel technology experience to Aven Hospitality, having previously held senior product management roles at Expedia, Egencia, and American Express Global Business Travel. She will report directly to Mark Hollyhead, Chief Transformation Officer.

The appointment is part of Aven Hospitality's restructuring efforts to upgrade its digital interfaces and expand its AI booking systems. The SynXis Platform aims to provide hotels with retail connectivity solutions to attract and serve travelers across digital channels.
